Reverse Event Stutter

I am working with M2T events on the timeline. I have reversed several. I want to make a M2T file for future distribution on Bluray and I need the reversed events to not stutter (I think all I do is reverse the fields). So I assume I would reverse the fields and all is okay for the M2T encode. What about going to mpg-2 for DVD? Do I reverse the fields there as well? If I don't get an answer I will try it once I get back to my office this afternoon and report back on both of the scenarios above.

If the field order is wrong and this used to be an issue with Vegas when you reversed an event, then it needs to be reversed for those clips no matter where it ends up.
Needless to say check everything on a CRT, a LCD will not show if the field order is wrong.

Here is something odd: The Cineform Avi intermediary file shows all kinds of field issues on the reversed events (right click->Reverse). If I take the same Veg file and encode straight to M2T (60i 1080) there are no field issues and the stutter/blurring does not happen. Can anyone else confirm this?

Edit:
Disregard the above. WMP 11 was/is the culprit. Media Player Classic displays it properly.

Thanks for the reply Bob.
