"reversing" the output video stream

Hi my name is Scott and I have a small issue that is probibly easily fixed. While editing video in Vegas 5, I want to "invert" the video so that it is 180 degrees, but here is the key: it is mirrored. So I want a horizantal mirror of my video, looking natural but it really is not because it is a mirror image. Thanks for any help.

If it's mirrored, you can use the pan/crop tool to flip a duplicate image on another track, and fit it to the space of the mirror. I believe Cheno uploaded a veg doing just this. You can also use the 3D Track Motion tools to precisely match a mirror's angle if there is one involved. Just right click to flip.
Either track motion or pan crop can provide this flip. There is also the Mirror plug if you're looking to mirror the whole thing.

I tried the "mirror" plugin within the Video Event FX : Sony Mirror. It works halfway, i.e. only half of the screen is morrored, but I cannot get the entire screen to do so. Also, I tried 3-D event Source Alpha, but I cannot do it in there either.

Open Pan/Crop for that event. Right-click the image in the Pan/Crop screen. Now using "Flip Horizontal" and "Flip Vertical" you can flip things all sorts of ways.
