Reverting to Original settings?

Whew, I got vegas working and i was editing, when suddenly (while editing the color in the MediaFX color corrector) the mediafx box dropped down to the lower half of the NLE.

The reason this is a problem is because it takes me 3 times as long now to color correct, which is very counter productive.

I am no newbie to editors, ive used worldcraft, QuArK, Milkshape and Wings. For NLEs ive used iMovie, Avid Xpress, and ... well Vegas.. ehhe

So is there a way to return all settings as far as the interface to default./.. ive been trying for an hour now..

Check the manual / help section for "Saving and Recalling Window Layouts." If you save your usual layout (several, in fact), you can restore Vegas. If you haven't saved any layouts yet, I believe you can get the original layout by pressing ALT-D, letting go, and then pressing the "1" on your keyboard (top row, not on the keypad).

You can also drag any window (other than the timeline) around by the four dots on its side or top.
