Right channel audio loss

i have some videos that I created in VMS 10 that after time no longer play the right channel. Not all of them are this way but only the ones that I used a trial version of efx from New Blu FX. Again these were fully processed vids that had been completed some time ago. I have tried viewing on different machines/sound cards etc... Does this make sense to anyone?
Thanks

First, what do you mean by "after time"? Do you mean that both channels used to work and then suddenly stopped?

Also, are you judging this loss of audio by what you hear in the speakers -- or are you looking at the audio output meter? I'd first confirm by watching the meter (to the right of the Preview monitor panel) that there indeed is no audio on the right track.

That way we know if we're dealing with a media issue or if it's just something in your computer's audio configuration.

Yes I mean after time and I did confirm the right channel is very faintly there but is hardly registering at all. I thought I must have done something wrong. Like I said the only thing I can think of is that I used the New Blue FX trial FX and wondered if that had anything to do with it. I would assume though that once the video was produced that was that. I know something does not seem right on this...just wondered if anyone else had an idea.
Thanks!!
