Rip from DVD

I have a DVD of an old concert from a former band of mine. I need to rip it to the hard drive. Im using Magic DVD copier but it keeps splitting the video into pieces making clips get lost.
Can anyone point me to a ripper that will allow me to rip from DVD by specifying times or something similar?
Or will Vegas do that? I only see a rip from cd option.
thanks

File - Import - DVD Camcorder Disc.
This feature was originally meant for miniDVDs but it works on full-sized discs (non-copyrighted) as well.
Be patient while the conversion is taking place as, depending on the length of the program, this may take a while.
Be advised that you will notice a gap in the audio when two VOB files are joined together.
John Meyer has an excellent solution to this problem in the recent Audio gaps in imported DVD files thread.

In Vegas : File / Import / DVD camcorder disc. Don't let the word "camcorder" fool you. It works with regular DVDs too.

You can also drag and drop individual .VOBs.
