All Tracks, Markers, and Regions.

The question is somewhat ambiguous. In sync with all the tracks or in sync with the affected tracks? Spot could be right or affected tracks could also be the answer.

My answer is try ripple- and use undo if needed.

Be careful though, the ripple tool has an unfixed bug in the last 2 versions of Vegas. I prefer to use the select tool instead of ripple.

Ditto on the buginess of the ripple tool. One of the many things that SHOULD have been a priority in Vegas 5, but wasn't.

What action produces the bug swarrine?

I've used Post Edit Ripple (Ctrl/Shift F) on a single Contour Shuttle Pro button since V4 without a problem.

A simple search of "ripple edit" will pull up several hundred discussions of problems cutting and using ripple edit. Quantize to Frames is another buggy setting in terms of how it affects the ripple editing process.

Place 3 events on your timeline. For this example use media generated checkerboards, but it could be anything.

Put a fade to blak at the end of event 2.
Put a fade from black on evnt 3.

With ripple on or post ripple drag & drop event one so it covers both fades on events 2 and 3.

Both fades are gone.
