What's the lowdown on the "rle8" codec? The best I can discover is that it's an 8 bit Billygate concoction. Is it available?

RLE is an 8-bit only codec that installs with Win 95 and 98/SE.
It isn't used much anymore that I am aware of.
Do you have a specific legacy app that needs it?
