Play out to analogue and recod back to Vegas or interim cammie? And yes, I don't know .. but this would be a "quick" fix if one of more techie wizards doesn't get back - yeah?

What you need is the dbPowerAMP Music Converter

It is the swiss army knife of audio converters, and it's free.
The Real Audio codec is available for download separately on the site, and you will need it.

Good luck.

**However, this program does not convert .rm files**

Yes, it does. I just downloaded the Real Audio codec from the dbPowerAmp Codec Central, installed it, and converted a .rm file on my computer to wave in about 30 seconds. The website also says you have to have some form of Real Player installed on your computer for it to work. You could uninstall it afterwards if you wish.

Hope this clears up any questions.

As far as a realplayer goes, I use realalternative

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Real_Alternative.htm

freeware, uses mediaplayer classic to play rm files.

Yeah, nickle,
I saw that link on the dbpoweramp site. Is it kind of a realplayer without the spyware and "phone home" feature? If so, I would be interested in giving it a try.

Yes that is what it is.
No popups or redirecting or anything.

It just opens an old modified version of mediaplayer before MS loaded it up with their spyware etc.
