when gathering media, sonic foundry does not recognize rm. files. Is there any way to make rm. files work

Hi,

I'm assumng you are asking about importing RealMedia files. Video Factory cannot decode or import RealMedia files for editing. RM is designed as a secure format, to be used to serve high quality audio and video content on the internet without worry of piracy. As a result, no software that I know of will decode RM for editing.
