Roger_74: QE 1.2: Undo?

Roger - It's me!

The Undo button does not operate after QE1.2 operation on selected audio. To be more precise, the audio envelope "graphic" does not return to its previous postion. Other "Undo" do work. Is this something that can be rectified?

In the meantime followed your superb instructions and assigned one of the Keystrokes - actually it was "Ctrl+Shift+1" in the list - hope I did this correctly! Anyway, I've also assigned a "button" now resides on my Toolbar - Excellent!

I'm not sure I understand what you mean with the graphic does not return to it's previous position.

I tried it by making an envelope with QE, then hit undo and the points disappeared. Or do you mean the Volume in QE settings? Changes to settings in QE cannot be undone I'm afraid, but added points can always be undone. I'm not sure that's a big deal though, because if you want to change to volume you just pull the envelope between the two points to where you want it.

You're right about the keystrokes, my bad.

It's this,"then hit undo and the points disappeared. " Not with me though.

Yes I understand,"Changes to settings in QE cannot be undone " No, I mean the V4 "Undo" and "Redo". The graphic I mean, is the Envelope itself - the one that sits over/on top of the waveform.

Using the QE1.2 I, basically, get 4 new points added to the exsisting Envelope. WHen I "Undo" the 4 points don't dissappear - yeah?

That's odd, it works for me. Whenever I run a script that does something "undoable" I get "Undo Run Script" as the undo choice. Tested on WinXP and WinME.
