I gave up!

Now I only use "Placement" in the Text editor - works for me! I got all the line and font size adjustment spacing I ever need AND in one place too.

Yes - I was starting to think that way Grazie - that confirms it!

Cheers

Wales certainly deserved it too! - They played boooouuutiful rugga all the way through, and NOT against an Irish side that wasn't there just for show either! One of the best games of flowing, thoughtful, intelligent and fast rugby I've seen for a long time. I think Sir Clive selected most of his Lions squad on Saturday!

You have not missed a setting. Each line is one of three "styles". When you change a style, you change ALL lines that are that style. Each line cannot be tweaked individually.

Ed,
Even you have to admit that it's about time Sony/SF improved the credit roll.

I do credit rolls in Photoshop as a long (say 640 x 2700) image file, and then use Pan/Crop to scroll downward.

You can get much nicer-looking text, and complete control of the speed of the pan.

Just explaining how it works - not that I necessarily *like* the way it works. Yes, I think it could stand a few improvements. That's probably why the lite version of Graffitti was included with Vegas 5.

Thanks Ed - glad I wasn't missing anything - as Grazie suggested, using the Placement tab in a "normal" text event to scroll from top to bottom gives more control over font sizes and spacing, so I used that.

Ironically, I've been trying to copy and add to a credit roll someone else did in Windows Movie Maker, which apparently has more customizing ability than the Vegas Credit roll. Hope there are a few improvements next version.

Edward - you tried to preview and link BG with Vegas? Now try and synch a sound track? It is a nightmare . .well it is for me. AND I bought the full BG3 package .. and people here told me not to!

A few tweaks in V6 on the text side would do me. The Placement tab has a vast anmount of flexibility - I really hpoe we don't loose that and the mini timeline. It is a real shame it aint Synch to the t/l cursor.

Hey ho . .. .
