Rotate object in VV3

I have just ordered VV3 but I have been using the Demo version for about 2 weeks. I need help on how to rotate a clip or image along the "X", "Y" and "Z" axis. I see how to "spin" an object in a 2D motion but I have not found a way to create spinning objects in a 3D motion. My previous NLE (Cinestream) offered this as part of the Pan/zoom/rotate effect. Is VV3 capable of this or is there a Plug-In that will enable this feature.

Unfortuantely there's no built in support for 3d rotation.

The Vegas Video Plugin Pack apparently has some 3d transitions.

Also, someone is apparently working with Satish, the maker of the WinMorph plugin, (see http://www.debugmode.com) to make a 3d effects plugin for Vegas, which is supposed to be out soon. There have been some recent posts about this...

But you can use a combination of pan/crop and deform filter instead. Is a bit more work but you can make a good effect if you works on it.

Thanks for the info. I am a serious hobbyist shooting mostly weddings, dance recitals and local events. I recently saw a FCP demo and I was amazed at how easy they could do certain effects compared to CS3 (PIP). I was considering migrating to an Apple G4 until I found VV3. The only thing I find odd about the software is how you move the frame instead of the object in the Pan/Crop effect. Other than this oddity everthing else I tried is GREAT. It is quick, and so far no dropped frames or other technical problems. I just ordered a "full version" and I can't wait to get started. Should I consider the available Plug Ins or wait. Should I upgrade to a faster PC (currently 500MZ with 384MB memory). Should I go with dual processors or just one fast P4?
