Rotoscoping

I have Vegas Pro 8 and was thinking of upgrading to Vegas Pro 9....but, I can't see anything new that interest me.

If they had put a decent rotoscoping feature in the new version I would upgrade.

Is there an add on rotoscope software program that will work with Vegas Pro 8 or 9?

I think Boris Red has rotoscoping features. I don't know if they are significantly better than Vegas's to justify the price unless you also want the rest of the Red feature list.

Non Linear Editors are not the best tools for rotoscoping so I don't see how SCS could put decent rotoscoping feature into Vegas. Rotoscoping is done using software specific to the task. Then again "rotoscoping" is a fairly broad description that's used very loosly so maybe what you're looking for isn't actually rotoscoping. If you could be more specific it'd really help.
