Sorry chaps, i always wanted to ask Sony and former owners... why they never thought of making a RT card for probably the best NLE in the world. Vegas 5.
They would sweep away the DV NLE market BIG TIME !!!
There's got to be a reason. A good reason ...

I would never presume to reply for Sony, but I like the principle that by not being tied to hardware, Vegas gets faster as system specs improve, and it keeps on happening.
