I've been successfully running CDA 4.5 on XP w/ my TDK VeloCD 16x drive. Even though CDA properly sees my drive, I end up doing my burning with CDPBurn since that gives me CD-Text ability.
My desire is to pull the TDK drive out of my machine and replace it with a combo DVD writer/ CD writer. Will CDA 4.5 and CDPBurn work with this type of drive? I'm assumming the CD specs of these drives are fully MMC compliant so everything will work as if it were just a CD burner(??). I would prefer to stay wtih CDA 4.5 and CDPBurn rather than upgrading to CDA5.0 as I don't want to loose my CD-Text ability.
Any recommendations on a good combo drive to check out?
