I have rx580 in my PC build, and wont work at all, i dont rly know why, at the box for turning on Gpu Acceleration i can select just Cpu. Vegas Pro 16, sorry for my bad english.

My system have:

Ryzen 2700x at 4.0 Ghz

Rx 580 8 GB

16 GB RAM 3000mhz

1 SSD 120 and 1Tb Hard Drive

B350 Tomahawk

Can someone help me ? Video preview is lagging so much, at draft Quality, with a 1080p video 60fps down to 30fps when editing. And i hear that If i turn on Gpu Acc will be a big change.

When editing, my proccesor stay at 70-80% maximum.

Wish I had an answer for you. I was using 1700X and now 3900X with RX480 and it appears as an option of either AMD or OFF in GPU Acceleration.

I did nothing special to have it appear.

While I am using VP17, I also have VP16 and just checked and it's there. I know it's a dumb question, but are your graphics drivers up to date? I have the latest Radeon drivers installed.

If you use GPU-Z, does it display your graphics card correctly?

If so, I would post in the "main" Vegas Pro forum if you haven't solved your problem already.
