Is 'S_Shake' a third party transition plug-in? How are you applying it to your video?

It is vegas pro and it is a 3rd party plugin. It is called Sapphire

If you can see the effect (not the wanted maybe) playing, that box is hidden after your toolbar or dragged by accident to a second screen and you have to pull it back.

@j-v - No, this is something else. The FX Controls, for some of us, just don’t automatically display.

Try resetting the Vegas windows layout interface and see what happens.....

Zoom into the Event and click on the Hamburger Icon. Select the Icons you want.
