My Zenith "Sentry 2" I bought about 5 years ago chops the frame pretty badly. A good part of the crawl at the bottom, the bug in the bottom right corner etc. are frequently cut off on many channels. Anyway...

Since I can't trust my TV (my only monitor right now), can I trust the default safe area setting in the preview window to work for most (all?) TVs?
