YEs....I believe those are sample projects that are used/explained in the VV manual (also for download from SoFo - same page).

I don't see any sample projects in the VV manual?? Where are they??

Thanks, Toasties

not exacly sample projects in the manual - but in the manual they talk about examples and such. ANd perhaps you would use these files to "recreate" the examples they talk about int he book.

I had previously d/l the manual - but didn't get the sample files until today. So my previous posts were MHO. I'll go through them now that I have them and see if they line up with the manual.

But if nothing else - they are files that you can run and see how certain things are done. Great premade sample material. At over 100mb - there should be a lot to play with.

Are you aware of the Tutorial in the manual for V3? The files are on the SOFO website. The tutorials are not in the V4 manual. What do you think of the SF DV and Audio Production book?

There is a complete tutorial. I have it in my Vegas 3 folder. I'm sure you can download it from Sofo. I can't remember if I downloaded it or if it came with Vegas 3.

David,

I found it very useful having never used any NLE software before, it really helped me get into the program. I actually bought it more for the copy of VV LE that came with it so I could upgrade to VV3 for cheaper than the full price of VV3.

But, I'm looking for a new tutorial for covering some of the new features in V4 and thought the V4 sample files download surely came with some kind of tutorial to follow, but can't find it. Must be out there somewhere....

Anyone else know??

Thanks,
Toasties
