Save active window context & cursor

Being able to save multiple window arrangements in Vegas is great (ctrl-alt-D + number). A further enhancement would be to be able to save and restore the current window with focus, including the context and cursor position (ie the specific effect/clip/focus in the Video Event FX window).

For example, while working on keyframes in a particular filter, to save the context so I can go back to the timeline or another filter, and quickly return where I was before. This would be handy while tweaking parameters and/or keyframes in several different clips...such as while compositing.

The idea would be to save current context with a keystroke (such as ctrl-alt-w + number) and return to that window/context with alt-w + number. By context I mean the specific window contents, relevant clip, cursor position and cursor state.

This would also permit keystroke macros (ie AutoKey) to save current context, do something elsewhere in Vegas, and end up right where the user was.

Does this make sense? Is there already a way to do this, by script perhaps?
