Save Audio Clip

I have a short 8 second audio clip that I've copied from my Vegas project timeline to a seperate audio track. I would like to be able to save this audio clip and use it in DVDA. I've tried but I cannot find a way to save just this small audio clip..

Is there a way to do this in Vegas 4? Thanks.

Double-click the clip so you have a time selection that is the length of the clip > Render (or Render to new track) with 'render loop region only' checked > choose the AC3 template.

Just to add to Gary's post: if you solo the track with the short audio clip on it this will ensure that no other audio tracks are rendered with it.
