Save section as new veg

I am wondering if it is possible to do a "reverse nested project". And what i mean is have a singel veg, select a section, and save that as a new veg?

Yup. Select the section you want to save and press Ctrl+T. This will trim the project to just that section. Then turn on Ripple Edit (All Tracks, Markers, and Region) and drag the events to the beginning of the timeline. Now do a Save As... and give it a new name.
