Save snapshot to file not working? Help!

I'm using Vegas 4.0
The disc icon and save snapshot to clip board icon above the preview window are not lit and don't work? How do I get them working again. Thanks for your help.

Catches most people out this one, makes sure your not previewing onto external monitor via firewire. You need to preview within the program and all will be well.

Thanks Zcheema. At the time I wasn't previewing onto an external monitor. Sounds like I accidently clicked the preview to external monitor button so that is why they are shut off.
