Background: I do a music show a few times a month on our local community radio station, and sometimes record it directly to a set-top CD player in the studio. Then using Vegas, rip the CD's, do some minor editing (equalize levels, minor compression, edit out PSA's, promos, etc), insert CD track regions (using "n"), and burn a DAO cd using Tools>Audio CD>Disk-at-once Audio CD. In the dialog box, I check "render temporary image before burning". After the burn, I'm prompted if I want to burn another disk.
Question: Does Vegas have an option to render a "permanent" CD image, ala Nero? And if so, where have I failed to look successfully for it? These are usually 3 cd's, and sometimes I just want to render the cd images, and return later to burn from the image, as opposed to copying the cd on the fly. I would really like to keep it within Vegas, if possible. Am I missing something, or any alternate workflow suggestions?
thanks
