Saved DVD files for future burning

I'm new to Vegas 4.0 so I don't mean to sound ignorant with my questions below. I'm planning on buying Vegas 4.0 this week, but have a few questions. I've looked over this forum and didn't see a topic on these. However, if these are redundant, then I apologize.

1) Does DVDA save the DVD information on the hard drive for future burning (possibly with Nero)? Or do you have to re-render the project each time to burn multiple DVDs? For example, I may want to create/render the DVD project now and then burn the DVD(s) later.

2) I've been reading about some minor problems with DVDA. Should I just buy Vegas 4.0 w/o DVDA and use another DVD authoring software? Or should I go ahead and get the Vegas 4/DVDA package (I do have confidence that Sonic will correct/fix any problems currently with DVDA)? If just Vegas 4.0, can anyone suggest another DVD authoring program?

Thanks for your time and help...

DVDA creates the structure of the DVD when you prepare your project for burning. Once the project has been prepared (using either PREPARE or PREPARE AND BURN), this structure is present, and you can BURN more copies of this DVD without going through the preparation/rendering phase again. Use the BURN option, and you will be prompted to enter the directory where the prepared DVD data resides.

As for waiting, that's up to you. Some would say yes, some would say no. It depends on what you are looking for. Download the demo and give it a try - see if it does the things you need. Also keep in mind that an update has been announced for release some time this week.
