Saved key frame settings

I need to set up a pan/crop sequence and reuse it over and over. I set up the sequence, give it a title and hit the "save" button above the key frame bar.

Then I go to the next photo, pull up the pan crop panel and select the saved sequence title but nothing happens, no saved key frame effect is forthcoming.

What am I missing or doing wrong?

You have a couple of options:

1) Copy the original and then on the second one choose "Paste Event Attributes"

2) Copy the original event to a new event and then add the new media as a take.

Edward .. does this means that one can't "preserve" by making a preset in P/C for use on "another" day?

Thoughts?

This is one of the areas that Vegas is deficient. There is no way to save a preset that contains multiple keyframes. You have to save one preset for each keyframe. So if you create a great pan/crop that has 3 keyframes, you not only have to save three presets, but you have to remember where to place the keyframes manually. Somewhat useless. For all the 3D capabilities in Vegas, you have to create them from scratch each and every time. This is why plugins like Boris FX are still better in some ways than the native function in Vegas because you can save an entire keyframed sequence as a single effect. Maybe in Vegas 6? ;-)
