Saving a project to a new folder using "Copy Source Media"

Can anyone please confirm whether the problem with saving an entire project to a new folder using "copy source media" INCLUDING IMAGE SEQUENCE FILES has been fixed in Vegas 23?

The image sequence problem has been around for quite a few versions now and I'd really like to know if it's been sorted. I would have tried it myself but my trial version of Vegas 23 has expired.

It would be much appreciated.

@PeterH I can confirm that this issue/bug is still present in VP23!

Thanks so much 3point!

Ok, that makes things easier. It looks like Magix is not very interested in sorting this bug. This is an important part of archiving projects for me.

I did send many support tickets to Magix support and their advice is a generic response to tell me to try the latest version. There's no way I'm going to upgrade to a version that still has the same bug which has been carried over from older versions.

Much appreciated.

@PeterH Instead of using Save As, you can try using Export -> VEGAS Project Archive (*.veg).

For me, image sequences won't work in Save As, but they work fine in Export veg, and there're more options in the latter one.

Thanks so much for this! I've been using Vegas since Vegas 13 and I've never tried exporting!

Much better! You never stop learning!
