I know this is a stupid question, but is there a way to save custome made buttons so they show up in the button folder? Same Question about saving custom themes?
As far as I know, for a button to show up in the button folder, they must be part of a theme. So, the answer to both your questions is: Make some themes. :)
See Sony's page on making themes. They have the specifications for themes (be sure you get the right one for your version of DVDA) and instructions on how to add themes to the program.
Thanks, I check that out but it looks like way to much work and time just to save a theme. I guess this should go in the "what to change" thread but really, in this day and age, they should have a "save theme" option that writes and zips and renames in one click.
I know other programs in 3D for example, can archve a project by finding all the paths, copy all the material, creates a text file, subfolders and zips in one click, so it know it could be done.
The Sony method is right out of circa 1995 how to build a web page. Remember when everything had to be hand coded with HTML? Thats the sony save theme method. Sheesh, I thought they were more progressive.
That's not the same logic at all. As a webmaster or DVD producer, you are building something. The "driver" is just someone who uses what you produced (the website, DVD, etc). There's no need for them to know anything about how the product was created, let alone do they need to do it themselves.
So, do you want to "drive" or do you want to "build"?
