saving nested projects with copy/trim media option

In V6, this is not doing what I need it to do. If I have three nested projects in a master project, when I choose "save as" with copy media then I expect to create an archived project with all the required media. As it is, unless I'm missing something, V6 doesn't appear to save everything it needs to reopen the project as an independent archive. It seems to save only the .sapf0 files and not the constituent .avi files that actually comprise the project.

Anybody else hit this problem? Any solutions or workarounds?

Still thinking through this issue. Is the only realistic approach to open each component VEG file and save/copy media? And then save the master file as well? Awfully tedious, but I can't see any other way to fully archive a nested project.

Is this something that could be scripted perhaps? It all depends if the nesting function is accessible via the script API. Oh....Edward?
