Saving Preferences no apply button

Just got vegas 5 have acid4 but iam unable to save preferences. IS there something iam doing wrong.Other programs have apply button is this not the case in vegas5?

PLEASE HELP! IAM NEW TO VEGAS!

Just to make sure: The box isn't so tall that the button is simply off the screen?
