Saving scanned images

I was wondering if anyone knows how to set the preferances in VV3 so that when you scan an image it goes to a different directory rather then the default location?

I just like keeping all my files on my 120 GB hard drive and don't want to spread them on my other 40 GB drive.

As convenient as it may seem to be able to scan an image within VV3, it's something I would never do. You've discovered one problem. Another is that you'll have a heck of a time doing touch up.

Also: I dunno if you want to save these scans, but don't ever consider a hard drive as anything but *temporary* storage. They can and do fail suddenly and without warning.
