Are you talking about capturing a single frame from captured video? Or, do you mean a snapshot taken using the still photo feature found on some video cameras?

If the former, then two things to try:

1) If you haven't already done so, increase the size of the preview window. In VF 2.0 and before, you'll have to manually drag the preview window frames to make it bigger. Then right-click in the preview window and check the "display at project size" option. Then click the floppy disk icon to save the image.

2) If that quality still isn't good, you might try another tip, although I haven't seen this help much with single frames. Search for postings with the title "Capture frame - preview" on this forum for an unsupported feature that might come in handy.

It's a series of drawings (CAD) showing an item in various positions. On the last 2, I zoom in on a feature. At the end, I wanted to "freeze" on a view that I had zoomed in on, which means I had to take a snapshot of it for the last frame.

But your suggestion of display at project size seems to have doubled the resolution, and this is probablyt the best I'll get.

Many thanks!

The best you can get is the frame size of the original media or VideoFactory's upper limit of 800x600, whichever is less.
