Saving trimmed project files in 8c?

When selecting "save media with project" in 8c and then selecting trim files with MPEG-2 files I have noticed the files are properly trimmed.

But when doing this same command with 8c using AVCHD files I am seeing that the entire source clip is copied, not the trimmed version.

Anyone else notice this or am I doing something wrong?

Only some formats can be trimmed losslessly. A few releases ago Vegas wasn't able to trim MPEG2 files. Perhaps soon it will know how to do AVCHD files too.

Okay that's what I thought. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't something I was missing.
