Scanning for Audio Plug-ins freeze.

I recently installed Vegas 3.0 in Demo Mode, I'm not sure if being in Demo mode has anything to do with it, but; When I run Vegas 3.0 after a moment of nothing when I bring up the Close Program screen it says Vegas30 and Rundll32 have stopped responding. I have an Asus motherboard, P4 processor, and SoundBlaster Audigy soundcard.

Currently, no, I installed it in Demo mode too and got the same issue, then uninstalled it, to the best of my knowledge at least...

there were a couple of things Acid installs that sometimes made my machine crash on scanning for dx plugs...
try this http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/audio/dxman.htm

see if you can find which things acid stuck in there and get rid of em ( dont just willy nilly delete weird plugs tho!!! )

Would that just be all the things under Sonic Foundry? There are a lot, but I'm not sure if Vegas might have put some in or not.
