Scanning for vst plugins startup hangs on 75 Percent

I notice (Vegas 22 build 250) on my new install (windows 11) the same problem on old install (windows 10). Vegas stops for a long time on scanning for vst plugins during startup. Hangs on 75 percent.

I noticed in the reliability monitor at that same moment a crash of audio_plugin_scan_server_vst2_x64.exe due to the famous nahimic service.

Is there a solution without disabling the nahimic service?

I use sonic studio with a custom equalizer setting for my headphone. Disabling the nahimic service results in a not working sonic studio and thus no equalizer possible which in my case is not the desired solution.

Good luck if you have the nightmare Sonic Studio and Nahimic service on your PC. It took me a day to get rid of it as it continually reinstalls itself even if you uninstall it via device manager. It tries to take over the PC grab control of all sound options even if you set other options as default. It even goes to windows update to reinsall itself - it acts like a virus - no software should be doing this.Not only does it mess with Vegas but many games are affected due to it controlling the sound options itself. If I were you I would look for alternative software to manage your microphone sound. If you need to take it off your system I can give some advice. Sorry you are haveing these issues.

In case of removing the software, it will come back with the next install of realtek. Asus bundles this with the realtek audio driver. So updating the drivers of the motherboard with asus driver assister will be resulting in a reinstall of sonic software.
