Wow... both the Adobe & Macromedia applications are very widely used. I can see them becoming even more widespread if their developers work together and get all their Apps talking, importing, and exporting to one another.

I so wish VEGAS could/would communicate better with Flash & AfterEffets. (amongst others)

Follows the whole Adobe website vibe and adds, of course, Flash. I was sort of against doing sites with Flash at one point because that sort of became a "keyword" and a trend, ala "Avid" and "Front Page". However as Flash has progressed things have gotten very nice, not always so obvious either. I really like the little "Case Study" on Big Spaceship and their web design for Underworld: Evolution.

P.S - if you look at the Adobe site it has the exact same flasgh header now. Also some "new" bundles including the video bundle: Expected to release in early 2006, the Adobe® Video Bundle will bring together Adobe video solutions with Macromedia® Flash® Professional 8 software. The Video Bundle will be available worldwide in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish..

So much for Adobe saying they wanted the Macromedia name only to turn around and pretty much dump the name.
