Scattershot Presets?

I'm trying out Scattershot and like it but I don't see many, if any, presets other than the 4 that come with it (circle, cube, matrix, 3D scatter). It's fairly expensive but would be well worth it if it had lots of presets.

Am I missing something, are there presets hidden somewhere or downloadable? Maybe there's a Scattershot users group?

Don’t view Scattershot as an fx but rather as a track or event compositor or layout tool.

Scattershot will help you set up your composition of the tracks or events in the 4 different layouts (circle, cube, matrix, 3D scatter)
you can then save the completed composition as a veg file or to use in other projects as a new nested veg composition or new composition by renaming it.

Scattershot saves me a lot of time with those projects where you have to arrange multiple elements. ie say I have a golf tournament with 16 companies competing
over a period of 3 months I need a column of 6 logos rolling in. hold. then rolling out. I create my event using matrix 1 row do your thing then save
In a new comp pull in the Scattershot veg and create the final composition.

Example = images at end of clip.

Thanx Rory,

That looks great but I wish that type of thing were a preset. Maybe we can get a scattershot users group going and trade presets? I own Bluf Titler and love the hundreds of presets that come with it. I was hoping Scattershot had a similar list of presets.

I would like to see some presets as well. I find it so much easier to backward engineer presets than it is to start from scratch.

This sounds GREAT! ;-)

As you may, or may not, know... I'm the developer of ScatterShot 3D at VASST and I would LOVE to have you guys work with me on the next version. Understanding your workflows and how you would like to integrate ScatterShot into that workflow and any new features that you'd like to see would greatly benefit the whole community. We at VASST are always open to feedback from our customers and potential customers.

I think saving all of the settings for any tab as a preset and then allowing you to share presets with each other is an awesome feature that I'd like to get into ScatterShot 2.0. If you'd like to work with me on this or any other feature request, just send an email to ultimatesupport at the vasst.com web site and we'll get the conversation going.

Perhaps we can figure out a way to leverage all of the this "social media" stuff to get a community together so that we can share each others thoughts. Maybe Google has something we can use. I'll have to look into it.

I'm looking forward to your collaboration.
