Scene detection for vegas 18?

Hello, I was wondering if Vegas pro 18 had scene detection?? and if it doesn't, could there be a plugin to emulate scene detection?

Upgrade to VP19 which has scene detection added as a new feature.

This is what it says in V18 Capture

Enable HDV scene detection

Select this check box if you want to create multiple files if scene changes are detected. When the check box is cleared, HDV clips will be captured to a single file.

I see, there is a new scene detection in the trimmer window options to create a sub clip in V19.
