scene detection with connectHD and FX1???

Hi,
I have a problem (or maybe not) with scene detection when capturing connect HD from Sony FX1.

It works, if I choose
"automatically convert to CieForm HD Format (*.avi)" and
"convert to CineForm HD Format and keep MPEG2-TS file (*.m2t)"
in the prefs of HDLink

it doesn´t work if I choose
"capture only the MPEG2-TS file (*m2t)"

is this OK, or do I have a bug in the program?

That is pretty much what we all have experienced. And capture seems to be the most trouble free using the capture only m2t files then convert later.

Thanks, epirb. Thats what I use to do, but it is not actually fun when you are used to scene detection.

That has been my experience. Hence why I use CapDVHS instead. Surely it can't be difficult to do post .m2t scene detection and slit up the files accordingly. It is a real pain working with .m2t files in vegas.
