Is it possible? The only way to create a "Scene Selection" menu, is by first inserting media into a menu, which creates a "Play All" button, and then right-click on that button and make the "Scene Selection".
The point is that I do not want that "Play all" button in the first place. Any suggestions?
DVD 2.0:
1. Drag your video from the Exploer into the Project Overview window. Drop it onto the root level item (with the disc icon).
2. Double-click the clip in the Project Overview window. If you do not have chapters set up yet, set them up in the Timeline window. If you do have them set up, go to Step #3.
3. Right-click the clip and choose Insert Scene Menu. Click on the Scene Selection menu (not the folder, but the menu) in the Project Overvieiw window. Choose Set DVD Start.
4. Delete the Main Menu folder in the Project Overview window.
Done. If you want an Introduction Media (something that plays before the menu), right-click the root level item and choose Insert Introduction Media.
DVDA 1.0:
1. Create your Scene Selection (after you've put in your chapters) and go to it.
2. Select all buttons and go to Edit > Copy.
3. Go to your Main Menu and go to Edit-Paste.
4. Delete your Scene Selection menu.
Now you'll still have your Play All Button on the menu. I don't think you can delete this, 'cause it contains your media. I haven't got DVDA 1.0 installed in any longer, so I can't experiment. Anyone want to finish this part? ;-)
Also, check out the Sony responses later in that same thread. Using their tips, you can include and reference media in a project, without that media appearing in ANY menu or page.
