'Scene selection is orphoned & not reachable'

When I go to make DVD & select prepage DVD I get the message that the 'Scene selection is orphoned & not reachable'. I then go back to the overview of the project & click the scene selection menu. This displays correctly & when I click each link on it it takes me to the appropriate chapter & plays correctly if I reqest a preview of it.

I assume the message is suggesting that my scene selection menu is not linked to anything but this seems not to be the case. If it really isn't linked Is there any easy way to fix this problem by inserting a link or dragging a file etc.

I don't know if this will help, but have you selected your scene menu and clicked the little purple box with a white star on the top of the project overview window? This will make the scene selection the default clip to play upon insertion of the disc and hopefully it will make DVDA happy.

This means you can't reach it from your main/first play menu.

When you add a scene selection menu, it adds links between the various scene selection menus (assuming you have more than one), but it doesn't create a link TO it.

If you preview your disk (select Preview, Preview Disc) you will see that you can't actually navagate to your scene selection menu.

If you want your scene selection to be the main menu, then GTakacs's solution will work.

If you have another menu as the main menu, just add a link from it to the Scene Selection menu. An easy way to do this is drag and drop the scene selection page in the project overview on to the main menu.
