scene selection malfunction

I burned a 28GB Bluray project . In Vegas ,rendered as: 1920x1080 24p 23.97 fps, bitrate 31,--> entered into DVDA ,no re-render neccessary and all smootly burned with no errors.
When I try to play the disc ,starting from the main menu with two buttons "All Pictures" and "Scene Selection", selecting the Scene Selection button works but when I push enter, the bluray player stops, so for some reason , my player recognizes the select button as a stop button.
When previewing the project in DVDA,prior to burning ,all scene selections worked fine. Again, no error messages came up throughout the whole burning process.
I burned bluray discs successfully the same way as explained above, however, the only difference is this time a project over 25GB and therefore I used a 50GB disc. Could that be a limitation ?

Any help appreciated.

I am still trying to figure out where the button select error comes from. on my final burned BD disc. Obviously, a command order.
My BD player recognizes the Scene Selection button on my main menu as a stop command instead of going into the next menu.
Since pre-viewing in DVDA gave no command orders, could this be a faulty disc ?

Does this happen only on your DVD player or only when playing it back on your computer or both places?

This does happen on my Samsung BluRay player.
When I play the 50GB disc on my computer ,through the external BluRay writer/player (brand:LG BE06LU11), the menu's/sub-menu's don't even come up. It just starts playing the disc right away.
I just updated the Samsung with the latest firmware and the there is no firmware update for the LG burner.
The people at LG said that this is a Vegas Software issue because no error messages came up during the burning process in the LG burner and the disc ejected with the message "successfully burned"

I'm not surprised LG would say it's a Vegas issue -- since otherwise it might be an LG issue. Or a Samsung issue.

I"m concerned that the BluRay player software doesn't play your menus at all. Does this happen when you load a commercial BluRay disc into your computer? Are you using the same software to play your disc?

Have you tried playing your "prepared" files with your computer's BluRay software? This will help determine if the issue is with your disc, disc player or the programming itself.

My LG burner/player did burn several BluRay discs successfully in the past with all menus working perfectly, The issue only comes up when, (for the first time), I try to use burn 50GB discs .
As I said, when pre-viewing the project in DVDA, all menu's work fine, preparing /burning in DVDA give no error message.

BTW, the 50GD disc plays fine throughout in both the Samsung BluRay player and in theLG burner/player. It's just that a menu button is messed up.

I'm not sure what to tell you, ws. Again, I encourage you to test the "prepared" video files. (Not the preview in the program -- these are the production files the program saves when you make a DVD or BluRay.) Unless you can find out if these files are faulty or not, you'll not know if the problem is well DVD Architect or with your media or media player.

Hi Steve,
Can you tell me how to test the menus of the prepared" video files?
As I said, the video files were all burned correctly and play fine.
The prepared project was saved as a WinZip file , extracted them into two files: BDMV and Certificate.
It seems that the main video file is in the Stream folder of BDMV (27GB) as a M2TS file ,then there are four other smaller files.
How do I find the Menus ? and how to find out if they are faulty or not ?

Thanks,
