screen cam captures: can I put this in VF?

I have a screen cam capture of a software demo captured at 1024x768. Can I put this into the timeline in VF, and mix it with DV video? Or do I need to convert it somehow into DV resolution?

Have you tried it? If you can drag it to the timeline, it should work.
