I'm showing some screen captures in a corporate video, for some reason on a particular tv people experienced flicker. Unfortunately, I don't know what tv/dvd they had.
I've shown the dvd on our tvs, computers and it has been fine.
I'm thinking there could be one pixel graphics in the screen capture which are perfectly horizontal and thus causing the flicker. Why it would be a prob only on a certain tv I don't know, maybe a prob with there dvd not reading a mpeg flag?
In anycase, has anyone used screen captures in their video, experienced flicker problems, and found a way to reslove the issue?
The screen captures are screen grabs of a website. The video project is 24p, the mpeg is DVDA 23.97 2+3 pulldown.
So far it's been suggested to rotate the screen grab 5-6 degrees or distort the image by pinching an axis (like starwars text). However I am not a fan of either of those solutions.
