1366 x 768 (recommended)

Well, the problem likely comes from the irregular resolution of the display combined with the underpowered system. The CPU and GPU both are below system requirements for VMS Platinum 17.

Hello. I wonder what's the minimum requirements for VMS 17 Platinum to run smoothly? I will only use it for simple video editing like combining the audio and video together.

We also recommend a screen resolution of 1920x1080.

I've a similar problem. My screen capture preview looks like this:

Spec:
Intel® Core™ i7-9700F
16 GB DDR4
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB GDDR6
64-bit Windows 10
Screen Resolution 1680x1050

I can't find any solution

Sorry to hear that Jakub. Your PC specs is good. They said the recommended screen resolution is 1920x1080 even though your screen resolution is very little below the recommended but your pc specs passed the maximum requirements. It's already a strong PC. Sony, do we really have to buy a very expensive computer worth 5k dollars just for the basic screen capture software to work properly.

Did you try to install Vegas Capture as standalone?

It's ok guys no worries. The main video editor is actually working Great on my laptop even with low specs. No issues whatsoever like freezing, lag. I already made 2 videos with it. For the screen capture it's fine I understand, I am only for the video editor. Overall I am very happy and satisfied with Movie Studio 17.
