Screen Format Problem

I have never had this problem before, but my widescreen video is okay during editing but switches to 4:3 when I render. I am rendering in MPEG2 (DVD NTSC). The project properties are NTSC DV Widescreen (720x480, 29.970 fps).

Like I said, I've rendered in widescreen before with out problems. Any ideas?

Thanks

You need to select the WIDESCREEN version of MPEG2 NTSC DVD template. Then, tell DVD ARchitect that your project is widescreen.

Please note that some third party apps can't properly read the widescreen bit, ignore these apps.

What if it isn't giving me a wide screen option?

You may have inadvertently deleted your widescreen template?
Re-install the application to restore the default templates.

I've downloaded the latest and reinstalled. Under MPEG2, I still do not have a widescreen option that has both audio and video. I do recall having the widescreen at one time.

Ahhhh, you don't want the template that includes audio. Use the DVD Architect widescreen template, which by design and desire gives you only video. Render the audio separately as a Dolby Digital AC3 file, using the same filename except for the .ac3 extension. DVD Architect will recombine them automatically.

Trust me, it's much better this way.

Yes, this worked exceptionally well. The project is complete. Thanks.
