Screen pixilation ?

This isn't Vegas Pro but i'm hoping someone can help.

I bought a 4k iiyama 31.5" screen a short while back, the screen is pixelated in certain areas, mainly blended colours don't blend smoothly,

I've tried with different setting of the monitor & GPU card but can't blend these in,

Is this the monitor or a setting i need to adjust,?

I'm not 100% happy with this screen anyway & am considering buying a better one, maybe a Dell 34" but don't want to get the same effect on another screen,

I didn't realise Magix or Vegas sold screens? Please clarify who you purchased it from.

It might be what you are showing and not the screen. Where does what's on the screen in your image come from?

That's a Boris YT vid but it's the same with some other pics where the colour graduates slightly,

My phone pics & videos are 3840x2160, the same as the monitor, it's not all though, just a few pics & vids. i tend to see it when there's a large amount of blue sky in the pic, I was just looking to see if any body had any thoughts on this, Thanks.

This is the YT vid, it should start playing where i captured that pic if you click at the top to view it on YT. , it says HD 1080 & i suspect it's just upscaling or poor YT viewing but i don't have it full screen

@Former user what created the 4K video above? What is the bitrate and bit depth?

I edit a lot of 4K and looking at it full screen on my 27" LG UDH4K monitor, I do not see anything like what you posted. Even in the youtube videos that I usually upload in 1080 do not show the "blotching".

Is the above images from Vegas? In Project Properties, what is Full Resolution Rendering Quality set to? Mine is always set to Best.

Hi, it was created with Vegas in June, i think it must have been Vegas 18 then, using the Magix AVC/AAC MP4 - Internet 3840x2160 (NVENC), I leave the settings at default

These are the properties of that video,

It varies tho to which media does it, My UHD 4k pics from the phone are crystal clear,

this is a screen capture of a 3840x2160 phone pic in full screen mode, no pixaling

This a 1920x1080 video from earlier in the yr when my phone died, full screen capture, no pixaling

This is what i don't understand & why i'm asking the reviews of this iiyama monitor aren't the best.

@Reyfox if you watch that Boris video i posted on YT do you see any of the sq pixaling in my pic?

@Former user can you give me a time stamp? I can see in 1:57:38 with the presenter on the left, there appears to be some pixel problems with the blue background, but not much and you have to really look at it to see it.

If you click on the video in the comment above & then click the title (Boris FX Live Birthday Bash: Boris FX Live 015) on the top of that vid it opens it in YT at about 45.11mins, the bottle that's in my pic is at 46mins 👍
