I don’t know if anyone can help with this question, but does anyone know what software is used to record video from computer screen captures, or screen action, like what they use for tutorials that show you what to do with the programs?

Camtasia and Hypercam are two popular screencap applications. Lots of horsepower if you're capturing a RAM intensive program though.

There is a free program at www.debugmode.com. He does very good programming, sometimes the GUIs has a different "feel".

I second the recommendation of Satish's "Wink" software at debugmode.com. I use it to make tutorials. It's FREE, and easy to use.
