The solution to this was easy: disable the screen saver.
Still, I'm curious -- does anyone know why this happens? I work for a while, go for a cup of coffee, come back to work and the screen saver is active and the Shuttle Pro is non-functional. I reload the Shuttle Pro software and continue working.
Obviously there's some interaction between the computer and the Shuttle Pro when the screen saver activates -- just curious as to what this might be? Any info from computer gurus would be appreciated.
