I've been trying to learn Acid to use it in my video projects. I don't own the full version of Acid, only Screenblast Acid.
Would I be better off using Vegas to create my music or Screenblast Acid and then import into Vegas?
How close, feature-wise is Vegas to full Acid?
Thanks,
Rick
Depends on whether you're using ACID to create and edit your own loops, or just sequencing existing loops (possibly along with recording original tracks).
If you're not creating your own loops, just go with Vegas. You can use ACID loops in Vegas, and you can do multitrack audio recording. (Not to mention the load of video-editing capabilities...)
No, I don't plan to create loops, only combine loops to hopefully create useful soundtrack for my videos.
I was just curious if there were any needed Acid facilities missing in Vegas that might exist in even Screenblast Acid that would make creating the music easier.
Sounds like the answer is no...
